As wedding photographers in Cheshire it was great to be back at Heaton House Farm, Macclesfield again to photograph the beautiful wedding of Graham & Jenny.
We first met Graham and Jenny back in August 2011 when they were guests at one of our previous bride and grooms weddings and we were delighted when they approached us and asked us to photograph their wedding at Heaton House Farm.
We met Graham & Jenny again approximately 6 months prior to their wedding for their pre-wedding shoot at our home studio. This is always a great opportunity to get to meet couples again, for them to become a little more used to the camera and the way we work, and for them to also get some great images of themselves.
On the day of the wedding it was sunny and warm and we were really excited to photograph their special day. We arrived at Heaton House Farm early to capture the details and the venue overview. Jenny arrived with the girls soon after and made her way to the Cloud View room to start the bridal preparations.
Jenny’s dress was a simply stunning, elegant wedding gown with beautiful diamante detail on the hip and complimented by the white roses and blue flowers of her wedding bouquet hand tied with a blue silk ribbon.
What the Groom didn’t know was that Jenny had a arranged a vintage Rolls Royce to take him and the Groomsmen to the venue so we ensured we captured Graham’s grand entrance at Heaton House Farm.
Graham had four Groomsmen and all were in good spirits when they arrived. They looked extremely smart in their great suits again, complimented by the white rose and foliage of their buttonholes.
Once we had captured the boys arrival and the informal family group photographs, we made our way back to Jenny and the girls for the end of the bridal preparations. You could feel the excitement in the room as Jenny started to get into her dress – the day had finally arrived and Jenny was about the marry the man of her dreams.
We captured some beautiful bridal portraits of Jenny and then of her with her Bridesmaids before we made our way to the ceremony which was being held outside in the Oak Pagoda to capture her arrival and join the eagerly awaiting Groom. Jenny was walked down the isle by her Dad to music played by a string quartet; Graham’s face said it all when he saw her for the first time on their wedding day.
The ceremony was beautiful and followed by the drinks reception on the patio area.
Once we had captured the group photographs that Graham and Jenny had requested, we stole the happy couple away for a short time to capture some beautiful images of the two of them as husband and wife 🙂
Here are a couple of our favourite Bride & Groom portraits:
The guests were called for the wedding breakfast and the room looked amazing with the blue colour theme running through the impressive lighting system provided by Heaton House Farm and the table centre pieces and favours. The speeches followed the wedding breakfast and once the laughter, tears and embarrassment had subsided everyone made trier way outside to make the most of the evening sun.
This also gave us the opportunity to capture one more photograph of Graham and Jenny with the impressive sun setting behind them.
Evening guests had arrived and it was time for Graham and Jenny to cut their cake in front of all their family and friends before commencing their first dance.
In the evening there was the most beautiful end of sunset skies and we just knew we had to get Graham and Jenny back out for one more photograph which they were more than happy to do – and here it is ……
Our day at Heaton House Farm had ended and what a great day it was.
