Heaton House Farm is one of our favourite wedding venues in Cheshire and we were delighted when Andy & Helen asked us to photograph their wedding for them there. After their wedding Andy & Helen sent us these kind words:
“The photos we have seen online are all brilliant and we have watched through the proof DVD which was fantastic (it took three days as I kept crying)”
Andy and Helen’s wedding was in September 2013 and they chose us to capture their special day after being recommended by Helen’s brother and sister-in-law, James and Kirsty whose wedding we had the pleasure of photographing in May 2013 at Etrop Grange in Manchester. We just knew Andy & Helen’s wedding was going to be a great day; they were such great fun to be around and have lovely family and friends. Arriving at Heaton House Farm nice and early in the morning to ensure we captured all the details that Helen had spent time preparing to ensure their day was perfect… and it was. We did spot a note on the door advising anyone suffering from Lepidoterophobia not to enter (a fear of one or more classes of insect – we didn’t know until we checked! :)).
Andy and Helen had chosen a butterfly theme for their wedding and they were positioned everywhere with both the ceremony and wedding breakfast area being tastefully decorated as can be seen in some of the images below :). Joining Helen in the beautiful Cloud View room for the bridal preparations where she was with her bridesmaids drinking champagne and laughing – everyone was in great spirits and full of excitement for the day ahead. While the girls continued with hair and makeup and more champagne 🙂 we went to join Andy, the groom, his 3 young boys and the groomsmen to capture their pre-wedding photographs.
Heaton House Farm is such a beautiful venue to hold your wedding and Andy & Helen chose to hold their ceremony with the ‘twinkly night sky’ as a backdrop which was beautiful. Helen looked simply stunning and she took Andy’s breath away as he saw her walk down the aisle. She was preceded by her 3 bridesmaids and 4 page boys, 3 of which were her sons who all looked so smart in their little suits; the excitement was all too much for the youngest, Joey, who fell asleep beforehand and had to be carried down the aisle J As a surprise for the happy couple, a soloist had been arranged by Helen’s Mum and at the end of the ceremony they were serenaded with Ave Maria which was extremely moving and emotional for everybody there.
Andy and Helen’s wedding was a perfect day, with a perfect couple at a perfect venue and it really was an absolute pleasure to be able to capture it them both. Here are some of our favourite images from their wedding at Heaton House Farm Wedding Venue.
