Tabley House Wedding Bride & Groom Outside in the sunshine

Photographing a wedding at Tabley House is always a treat

Amy and James chose the perfect venue for their stylish wedding. Add to that lovely guests and glorious sunshine and you have the perfect conditions for capturing Cheshire wedding photography.

Now, we’ll get back to why we love photographing weddings at Tabley House in a minute.

Let’s start at the beginning of Amy and James’ day

We arrived early to take a few shots of Amy, her parents and the bridal party, who were getting ready at her parents’ house in Rushton Spencer.

Amy looked amazing in a beautiful wedding dress that had the most exquisite lace detail. This was complimented with an elegant veil and the most beautiful bouquet (created by Amy’s mum’s talented friend Helen). The overall look being effortlessly elegant; Amy really suited being a bride.

The wedding ceremony and drinks reception

We then headed to the magnificent Tabley House for the ceremony. Built in 1767 and set in delightful parkland, Tabley House is a stunning Palladian mansion.

Amy and James’ ceremony was conducted in the majestic gallery. This is considered to be amongst the finest rooms in Cheshire. Especially, one of the reasons why we love shooting wedding photography at Tabley House are the large Georgian windows as they give us so much natural light to work with during the ceremony.

After the ceremony Amy and James came out to a confetti moment before enjoying a drinks reception with their guests on the perfectly manicured lawn.

We took the opportunity to take some great group shots outside taking in the spectacular Cheshire countryside along with some lovely portrait shots of Amy and James around the stunning house and grounds of Tabley House.

And onto the Stanneylands Hotel

Then all of the guests hopped onto coaches bound for Stanneylands Hotel in Wilmlow for the reception (whilst Amy and James travelled in style in their wedding car!).  Stanneylands Hotel is a country manor house in sought-after Wilmslow in Cheshire.

On arrival there was a drinks reception and magician Ian Lavin entertained Amy and James’ guests. This was followed by the wedding breakfast and some very well received speeches.

Evening entertainment was a disco but not before Amy and James’ first dance. And it was the image of the two of them embraced on the dancefloor that seemed the perfect shot to close the story of their day.

A relaxed and stylish Cheshire wedding at stunning venues in glorious sunshine.

Congratulations to Amy and James for getting married and creating such a wonderful day for yourselves, your family and your friends to remember.
