"Walking into the studio a very nervous, stressed out mum of two with hang ups about my flabby tummy, I thought at best I'd come out with a few flatteringly lit shots and a novel present for my partner. What I got was so much more.
I immediately felt at ease as I chose what style of pictures I liked and disliked and this made me feel in control and confident that I'd get the results I wanted. The shoot itself was actually good fun; watching Steve try to model glamorous poses was a particular highlight! I wasn't sure I'd be brave enough to do the more revealing shots, as I thought it might feel a little tacky, but after a while I felt really comfortable and I thought it's now or never. Steve and Sandra's professionalism made those shots feel completely natural and as it was left up to me to suggest when they were taken, again, I felt completely in control.
Having received my photos I feel overcoming my nerves and body hang ups completely paid off. My photos were not only a beautiful present for my partner but a great confidence boost for me; I know I'll look at them often as I get older and think 'Look at that brave young woman with the great body!' The day after I gave the book to my partner he sent me a message saying he couldn't stop thinking about me, which hasn't happened in a while!
