Prior to your shoot the style of pictures you would like will be discussed along with examples for you to look at; why not have a browse through any magazines or books to help decide, and please feel free to bring these images along or email them ahead of time, that way we can let you know if that particular look is something we can re-produce for you.

I have wanted to do this for so long, but I am so very nervous…
Absolutely everyone doing a boudoir photography session feels a little nervous, and yet excited prior to their photoshoot. It will take about 15 to 20 minutes for you to warm up in the beginning and before you know it you will be having a blast! By the end of the session we always hear from our clients “It was so easy and I had so much fun doing it! I wished I had done this years ago!”

Do you "retouch" my images after the shoot?
We will discuss with you at your shoot how much retouching to your chosen images you would like. We will always retouch any blemishes, spots, etc but you may also wish to remove any stretch marks, cellulite or scars, we have even removed tattoos for clients before now. After a little digital nip & tuck? Not a problem, we can also help here if you wish!

How will I know how to pose?
As we do with al our clients we will help you completely with the poses during your boudoir session, we know what looks best and how to show off your best bits and hide your worst. It always helps to tear out images that you like or would like to recreate. Searching the internet and bringing in magazine pictures will help us get a feel for the style and type of photography that you like best. We will do our best to recreate the images that you like.

What wardrobe should I bring to a boudoir photography session?
We suggest you should bring a choice of outfits, and actually prefer that you bring too much rather than too little. We will mix and match from your selection to create the perfect stylised shot. We recommend that you bring a variety of items such as sexy bra and panty sets, sexy sleep wear, thigh high stockings, suspenders, bikinis, cocktail dresses, mini skirts, low-rise jeans, cute tops, and plenty of fun jewellery and accessories. We do also have some accessories and props available that you may use during your shoot. Personalise your shoot and get creative! Bring your boyfriend/ husband’s favourite sports shirt, work shirt & tie, or surprise him with that sexy nurse outfit he loves on you! Have all of your outfits clean, ironed, and packed so you’re ready to go.

You must be 18 years of age and be able to show proof of ID prior to your photoshoot in order to do a Boudoir session.

Who will photograph my boudoir session and be present during the shoot?
We are a husband and wife team and are totally comfortable with photographing both the semi naked and naked body. Steve the photographer (LSWPP) will endeavour to make your session both a comfortable and fun experience for you. We also offer (recommend) the option of a female assistant (Sandra) being present to help advise you with make-up and outfit changes during your session.

I am concerned with privacy. How secure are my boudoir photos? Who will see my boudoir photos?
We respect your privacy and we handle you photographs with the utmost care and respect. Your privacy is guaranteed. Apart from the photographer and female assistant on set no one else will see your images without your consent. Your images will not be posted anywhere without your express written consent. We are very honoured and appreciative of our clients who have given us permission to be featured on our website and in our portfolio.

How do I prepare for my boudoir photography session?
Get a good night sleep before your shoot. Do not wear any tight fitting clothing when you arrive for your shoot. Any elastics, bra straps, belts, etc. will leave crimp marks on your skin. Arrive in loose fitting clothes or anything that will not leave crimp marks in your skin. Another great tip used by lots of models prior to a shoot is to avoid eating greasy foods and drink lots of water in the 24 hours prior to the shoot.

What makeup do you recommend for a boudoir photography session?
Apply your makeup as if you are going out to party at night – a touch more pronounced than normal. Do your hair before you leave for the shoot.

You are in total control of your photoshoot. Once you hire us we will photograph you, as you wish, in your allotted time. We do not put a limit on outfit changes or the style of photography you wish to explore. You may choose to do a mix of boudoir and artistic nude photography during a single session.

Glamour photography is a general term that represents glamorous and sexy images of the female, and puts all the focus on the beautiful model. Glamour photography highlights the model’s natural features creating soft, alluring, glamorous and sexy images. Glamour photography can encompass clothed, lingerie, bikini, topless and nude images.

Are there any limits on what you shoot?
We will photograph lingerie, implied nude, semi- nude, and nude. Our style and photography is very beautiful and tasteful. We will shoot up to “playboy” style photography. We do not shoot explicit or adult content, but do adore the female form and we seek to flatter and complement you at every opportunity, providing you, our client, with images that you will treasure for life and show with pride.

I would love to be photographed in my own bedroom. Can you photograph me in my own house / bedroom / boudoir setting?
Yes we can, with pleasure. We do have an additional charge for this as we need to transport our equipment and spend time setting up our lighting in your home, plus pack it away at the end of the shoot. The fee will depend on the distance travelled and the additional time required.
